Company Thresholds
In addition to the legal thresholds of 5%, or any multiple of 5%, Nyrstar has adopted the following lower and intermediate thresholds: 3% and 7.5% (Article 8 of Nyrstar’s Articles of Association).
Shareholder Structure
Nyrstar's investor base primarily consists of institutional investors in the UK, the US, Belgium and other European countries, as well as Belgian retail investors.

Shareholding Notification Obligation
Any shareholder holding, directly or indirectly, voting rights equal to 3% or more of the existing voting rights have to declare this shareholding to the company and to the Belgian Banking, Finance & Insurance Commission (CBFA). Any rise or fall below the first threshold of 3% and thereafter the threshold of 5%, 7.5%, or any multiple of 5% is subject to the above mentioned notification.
