Operational Technology PCS Engineer
Hours: Monday - Friday
The Hobart Zinc Works is one of the largest and most efficient Zinc Smelters in the world. Your ability to use a range of engineering principles to provide innovative solutions will be valued and there are a lot of wins to be had.
You'll be located on site and have the opportunity to be tactical and hands on. As an integral part of the OT team, you will provide day-to-day technical support, carrying out basic maintenance and problem solving activities on control system assets on the site. You'll assist E&I maintainers in fault finding, and will be responsible for monitoring the performance of PCS assets like SCADA stations, process historians, PLC panels, remote I/O panels, and completing failure investigations and recommending improvement actions.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute strategically and to the design, implementation and maintenance of OT equipment functionalities and applications. We're an aging asset with a lot of room for improvement. You will be given the support and respect to have pride in your work and make a positive difference.
- Provide day-to-day technical advice, problem solving and support

- Engineering Degree
- PCS maintenance
- PLC and Historian systems maintenance
- HMI design and development
- Broad IT experience
