Position Overview

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, directly responsible for one of the production departments on the Hobart site. You will play a key role in driving systemic improvements in department performance, including occupational health and safety, production and cost management.

As a driven leader who thrives in a fast paced, high energy environment, your drive for results and accountability will be vital to supporting fundamental business objectives.

The key areas of this role will see you providing consistent leadership with a focus on;

  • Providing strategic and tactical direction for a Production Department
  • Coordinate operational plans whilst ensuring both safety and productivity are maintained
  • Drive continuous improvement and provide input into improvement projects
  • As a values based leader drive a strong safety culture
  • Manage costs to budget and be accountable for variances


To be considered for this this role, you will possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering/science discipline and/or extensive practical experience in leadership role in a relevant industry.
