Inge Schildermans
VP Operations and Continuous Improvement (EU)Inge Schildermans holds operational responsibility for Nyrstar’s operations in Belgium and France. In addition, she is accountable for the technical aspects of Nyrstar’s Continuous Improvement projects across the European region.
Inge joined Nyrstar in 2007 and has held multiple roles in production, progressing from Senior Technologist to General Manager at Nyrstar Belgium. She also served as General Manager at the company’s smelting plant in Clarksville (US) before taking the role of VP Operations EU from which she transitioned to her current position in April 2025.
Inge is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in the metallurgy and chemical sectors.
Inge completed her education at KA Overpelt and the University of Ghent, and holds a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Diepenbeek.
